BizNet Productions’ President Fred Harteis Gives Back to his team.

After hurricane Jeanne hit Haiti Fred Harteis started a relief fund.  BizNet Productions has a large number of IBOs in Haiti.  As soon as news hit Fred Harteis personally made a sizeable donation and so did the entire BizNet Productions Organization.  While in the end our contribution was small compared to what is needed, but we know the Haitians are hard workers and will have things put back together in no time.

Haiti hurricane death toll exceeds 3,000

The government of Haiti has put the final death toll from Hurricane Jeanne at more than 3000 people.

Haiti's secretary of state for environment says 3006 people were killed, including 2,826 in the mud-crusted coastal city of Gonaives.

In the flood-ravaged city of Gonaives, some 200,000 people have lost their homes, belongings and livelihoods.

On Tuesday, the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies called on the international community to provide more aid to Haiti, to prevent a humanitarian crisis.

Tropical hurricane Jeanne swept through Haiti nearly three weeks ago, accompanied by torrential rain, massive flooding and mudslides.
